Soil Food Web training completed by the Bio7 team
Dimitris Fanariotis and Evgenia Vitouladiti have completed the Soil Food Web School Foundation Courses. This shared foundation strengthens the work of Bio7 and the Hellenic Center for Regenerative Agriculture.
The training of our two team members
Evgenia Vitouladiti, the agronomist and certified Agricultural Advisor on our team, has completed the Soil Food Web training. She has also completed additional training with certification from EIT Food.
Dimitris Fanariotis completed the Foundation Courses with Distinction and an average grade of 98%. His training was funded by the Ionian Environment Foundation.

Completing the foundation training at Dr. Elaine Ingham’s school is an important step in the regenerative agriculture work of Bio7islands Eco-Ionian. The knowledge gained strengthens the basis for developing the Hellenic Center for Regenerative Agriculture and our local activities.

Understanding soil, its organisms and their roles in the soil ecosystem.Making BioComplete™ Compost
Principles of BioComplete™ compost production, process management, large-scale production and application methods.Making BioComplete™ Extracts and Teas
Production of compost extracts and teas, their biological composition and application methods.Microscopy
Using a compound microscope, identifying microorganisms by their morphology and interpreting microscopy data.
From learning to application
The training connects with our work in Corfu and Paxos: composting organic residues, observing soil biology and informing growers and residents about regenerative agriculture. Completing the Foundation Courses provides the basis for further practical training and the development of our applications.
